Your environment has a big effect on your health and well being and a peaceful room or area of the garden can enhance your mood and help to relax you. It is also helpful for lowering the blood pressure and generally making you feel happier and at peace.
You could set aside a small area of the garden as your own personal relaxation or meditation area. You need a comfortable seat or an area of grass where you can relax, some pleasantly smelling flowers or flowering bushes and preferable some source of running water. A small solar fountain can easily be placed in your garden area and will add the pleasant sounds of running water to the environment. Another idea is to hang pleasantly sounding garden wind chimes from the trees or a suitable post. The lovely chimes will greatly enhance the relaxed mood of the area.
If you do not have a garden you can achieve the same effect on the patio or even in a room. Place lots of large plants around the room, use a comfortable seat and hang your windchimes close to an open window. To simulate the scents of the garden either place fresh flowers around the room or a small incense burner. Relax and enjoy the lovely sounds and scents of your healing room.
