Song Of The Wind

Lyrics below for my tune for acoustic guitar and vocals.

SONG OF THE WIND
Music & Lyrics by Diesel Bodine

On a calm day all is silent
But as pressure changes in the atmosphere…
The mystery begins
Detected by the swaying branches in a sea of trees
As a million Dandelion seeds drift by…
Like flurries in the sky
While rushin’ sounds like the ocean… arise

The symphony begins with chatterin’ shutters
And half closed doors
A whisper builds in audibility
Bending reeds on a teeming shore
And right on cue, janglin’ wind chimes
On back porches play
A song unknown but to the wind
Sung anew each day

Hidden bellows unleash the rising breeze
Each time gate keepers guarding harbors of calm refuge…
Fall asleep
Cloudy skies in locomotion know the song of the wind
Enslaved into its chorus line in an endless battle…
they’ll never win
While rushin’ sounds like the ocean… join in

The symphony begins with chatterin’ shutters
And half closed doors
A whisper builds in audibility
Bending reeds on a teeming shore
And right on cue, janglin’ wind chimes
On back porches play
A song unknown but to the wind
Sung anew each day

Hi Coz-Girl. It is easier to start when you’re a kid, but it’s never too late to learn. 8-)

Man, wish I’d learned to play. Great music. Love music, wish I’d stuck with learning to play the organ when I was a kid.

I think the lyrics are beautiful. The sound effects in the background are neat.I think we need to hear your voice a bit louder..otherwise, this is a real beauty!

Lovely. Reminds me of sitting one one of the benches beside Greystone’s South Beach just looking out across the sea. :-)
