Best Garden Windchimes | Gregg Payne’s Chimes

Gregg Payne’s Chimes

I tune large pipes for chimes for interactive, kinetic, or public art projects. There’s quite a bit of math to consider with tuning and suspending large pipes to get the best resonance, and the mass and damping of the striker is very important to get good tone.

Your artistic energy is appreciated, but I hope you understand that these oversized contraptions are annoying to many forced to listen to them. While they might be novel for the first 10 minutes or so, neighbors might be just a little annoyed having to listen to them everytime the wind blows. Surely Gregg, you must understand…just a little obtrusive; perhaps?
