Best Garden Windchimes | Red Moon Cycle [ SecretsOfFire ]

Red Moon Cycle [ SecretsOfFire ]

Played on my back deck on a warm and windy night. You can hear my wind chimes and the wind in the trees. This is the tune that “Red Moon Melog” was derived from. I wrote it for my Sweetheart’s birthday, which nearly coincided with the recent total eclipse of the moon - the red moon of the song title.

If you like my style of playing, take a look at my other recent videos. If you are looking for videos from other Hang players, look up the YouTube channels of: Dante Bucci (mutlunatic), Manu Delago (lovingmecha), Andisteil, PlayHangHang, In2nation, BeyondTheMountain, and Imagineye.

I’m impressed… I have never seen or heard an instrument like it. Sounds kind of like something you would hear in space or while watching something about space.

Thank you for your kind words! I understand the feeling of making a pilgrimage to Switzerland, but that is rapidly becoming too expensive for most. Perhaps a pilgrimage to Farmington, Missouri, will be possible soon to get a Halo, Pantheon Steel’s ‘hand pan’. I hope they are able to make an instrument equally as magical as the Hang.

This is wonderful. Such a pull into another space all together. I too am on a quest for a Hang. I am excited to hear that Pantheon Steel is developing one because the prospect of getting one is growing, but there’s just something magical about having to travel to Switzerland. It’s like pilgrimage.

I’m on the PanArt, Parthenon, and Blackbells lists. One must eventually bear some fruit. :)

You are most welcome - thank you for your kind words. Keep looking - the new Integral Hang can be obtained from PANArt if you can wait for them to fill their backlog of orders, sometimes Hang show up on eBay (although at great cost), and Pantheon Steel, in the US, is hoping to come out with their own Hang-like instrument sometime soon.
