An ancient system of tuning is used to tune the chimes, called ‘just intonation’. The frequencies of vibration of the tubes are related integrally and related in a way to produce the most beautiful and pure intervals. The chimes also incorporate tuning from many different cultures including Chinese, Japanese, Hawaiian, Mongolian and Balinese. Chimes are available in Alto, Soprano, Tenor and Base and in a wide variety of different tunes.
